Meet Phoebe, a very special dog with a unique story. She was found last week by a German student near a night food market in Hongkou District. Phoebe was very skinny, her gums where white due to poor nutrition, has a broken hip, and had worms and fleas. At that time she was not able to walk even a few meters. Once the student brought her to the vet hospital it was discovered that Phoebe was also pregnant with five puppies. Sadly, due to her poor nutrition, she had surgery to remove the puppies (as they would not be able to survive after birth). We have been able to get donations for 6,600 RMB to cover the medical bills for her.

Now, one week after her surgery, Phoebe is feeling better. She can walk without problems, but she might need a hip surgery which would fix that old injury. We would be able to pay for the surgery, if she needs it, in 1-2 months time.

Right now we are looking URGENTLY for a foster family or a forever loving home for Phoebe. Phoebe is a loving and quiet dog that enjoys being stroked and hugged. The worms and fleas are gone, and she has received her first vaccination already. We think she had a previous owner as she knows how to behave on a leash. She is around two years old, and has been treated so she cannot longer have babies. She is still at the vet hospital since still we have nobody who could foster her.

Phoebe is an amazing dog who would appreciate every little thing you do for her. She went through a lot and knows how hard the stray life can be. She is absolutely a dream dog for any family who would love her as much as she deserves to be loved.

Beans Eye, a little puppy abandoned in front of the rescuer's apartment. Except the problem of the third eyelid, Beans Eye is a healthy & clever boy with curious, friendly and naughty teeth.^^

Niu Niu, a 3-year-old girl, she seems unconcerned and silly, but never judged by first glance. ^^

She had been rescued for more than 2 years, experienced foster life in pet shop & family life with dogs and cats. Since the shape of teeth, Niu Niu looks like the boy, but really a sweetie girl. Nai Niu,female,1 year old.One day she was found near my company.The first time I saw her is very thin and afraid of people.I gave her some meat.The next day she was in the same place(seem like waiting for me).And this time I can touch her,then carry her to do all the check.The lucky thing is that she is very healthy.Now she is very cute ,sweetie and more strong.

In the middle of Aug. one day in my compound I found a boy was playing with two puppies, the way he treated with the puppies made me worried, after checking , I found those two puppies were stray animals

A little girl that got pregnant while she is a stray outside, she had problems giving birth and an ayi rescued her.  Now she is very active and happy.  Looking for a good family.

Early July, 2014, xiao lan was near a Lan zhou noodle shop, she followed the rescuer and didn't want to leave.

xiao lan has been taken to the vet for checking , healthy, soon will have first shot, and neutered.

Xiao ai was found the noon of May 28,2014, the day was quite hot, she was left in front of a shop with a rope, people nearby said dog was left there one night before. She is very friendly to people, about 1 year old, has done spayed and first shot.
