Short time ago there was 13 puppies and 3 mother dogs in a factory located in Hongkou District ... but the authorities decided that the place should be taken down completely. Many people rushed to help and 12 puppies found homes while one male puppy will be returned after CNY. His name is Wang Cai, 2 months old, quiet and a little shy ... but very friendly to people. One of the 3 mother dogs has already been taken to a village, so now only 2 of them still stay at the factory. We have to wait to see whether this place will be taken down until Feb. 23th.

Given that the mother dogs are still lactating, they will have to wait for at least 2 weeks before they can be vaccinated. Also they might have to wait until around May to spay them (after they have their second vaccination).

The bigger one is called Da Huang, she is 4-5 years old. The small one called Niuniu just recovered from "twisted stomach". She is already 10 years old. They are old, but very sweet and friendly to people. They deserve a loving home for the rest of their lives!

We are urgently looking for permanent loving homes or foster homes for Da Huang and Niuniu. Please spread the news! Animals are innocent creatures that deserve a chance for happiness!
