This small size, 2 year old male dog has spent all his life chained to a fence on a 1 and half meter long chain. He has gone days without food and water on many occasions. We believe that the elderly owners are slightly mentally handicapped as on occasions they even forget they have a dog when confronted. It took me one long year to convince them that the dog will be better off in another home but they won`t let me take him for walks or to the vet until someone commits to adopt. I will cover all his veterinary bills to be up to date on all vaccines. Overall, he is healthy and not afraid of people. Recently he somehow managed to escape his chains and almost immediately he made friends with my dogs and played for hours before the owner tied him up again. This time he is on shorter leash and can barely move. This dog is very affectionate and friendly. If someone could please give him a chance, he could be set free from his current nightmares.
