On Sunday November, 9th, a team of 18 BFC volunteers and rescuers held the first "Foster Me! Walk" in Shanghai.The concept is quite simple: walking rescue dogs in the city to help them find their foster family, and to get them out of the shelter for a day!

For the first edition of the walk, 10 rescue dogs were walked from the Piro Restaurant (Changshu Lu/Changle Lu) to the Cafe des Stagiaires (Yongkang Lu/Jiashan Lu), with a few stops on the way, from 13.30 to 17.00.

All volunteers, rescuers and doggies were easily spotted as they were all dressed in red, and are handing out flyers, Best Friends China business cards, as well as rescue dogs business cards!

We can say that this first walk was a success, as Bei Bei (Wu ayi's rescue) was adopted on the spot and went home with a wonderful couple of guys!! We also had a few contacts for other dogs, and will contact the potential foster families soon.

换个方式找家，上周日，18名BFC的志愿者，带着十只漂亮狗狗，在常熟路一带活动，立即引起了很多路人的眼光。大家对这些有故事的狗狗们都非常好奇，纷纷来了解领养手续以及临时寄养的要求。如果你无法领养，给它一个一生一世的家，那就考虑寄养吧，给他们一个临时的家，直到他们找到领养人为止。
